What reaches the AI
Kairo uses an AI company called Anthropic to help your teen. Before your teen's typed words go out, we take out emails, phone numbers and street addresses. Names stay, because history and English class are full of names.
A homework photo is read once and turned into text. We never keep the photo.
What we never do
We do not use your teen's chats to train AI models. We do not sell data. The app your teen uses has no ads and no trackers.
What you control
You can read your teen's chats, apart from some serious reports our safety team handles itself. You can turn off homework photos, turn off what Kairo remembers, and remove your child at any time.
When you remove a child, their data is deleted after 30 days. We keep serious safety reports and the chat they came from. Only our staff can see them.
